Auto LPG is a Petroleum product currently owned and distributed by the four big oil companies HPCL, BPCL, IOC, IBP and will be dispensed through thousands of their existing Petrol Pumps spread over the country. Last year the Govt. has sanctioned a further 10000 pumps to be operated by other new companies viz. Reliance, Videocon, ONGC, Essar Oil, most of which are likely to commence dispensation of LPG. Currently LPG dispensation has already commenced in over 15 cities across the country.
Thirty two pumps are envisaged in Bangalore City alone and over 200 in Karnataka which will be in operation within a year. |
